English In Mind Competition for students 2011 - Let's hear it from you!
Dear EIM Teachers,
As you may be aware, English In Mind author, Herbert Puchta will be visiting us in Ecuador this year in October.
We will be holding a competition for our English In Mind students, the finals of which will be held in Herbert's presence, the last week of October.
Let's hear it from you!
We invite your students to prepare a 3 minute speech about how they have best learnt English in their lives. Their speech should include the following:
- My best English teacher ever and why she/he was/is so good.
- 2 things I really enjoy doing in the English class and why I think they help me to learn
- Something I love about English in Mind
You may choose the 3 best students from your school, video them and send us the DVD before October 15th.
Rules
1. The speech should be no more than 3 minutes long
2. It should be recorded on a DVD
3. No more than 3 students may participate per school in the finals
4. Send the DVD to the CUP office by October 15th
5. The students may not be native English speakers
6. The students must currently use English In Mind
7. The DVD must be sent with an accompanying letter stating the name of the school, the coordinator, and the names of the students in the order in which they appear
